Joseph's novel Are You Watching Me? (2016) appears to have been inspired by remote viewing the murders of Bruce McArthur. McArthur was arrested in 2018. Clive Dufault is attacked by Zachariah Banner. Originally, the character was named Bruce Banner. The name was changed for obvious reasons.
