In 2022, Joseph is writing Whippokill, a horror novel about a bird-like spirit of vengeance modelled after The Ideal Husband. He received a message and misinterpreted it as fiction. He's confused as to why the story doesn't make sense.
Joseph stops writing after August partly because he catches COVID again. But also because Joseph has a problem.

Michelle DiEmmanuelle, head of the Civil Service, sends out a message about George Floyd two years after his murder. On the same day, Joseph is meeting with management. He has proof the WDHP is deleting evidence of anti-black racism. The video in which he warns them the cover up will look bad in the future.

Joseph answers a question. Did he really predict all this strangeness back in the 1980s? Joseph talks briefly about this stories he was given and why he never believed they were real. In the 1980s, it was ridiculous to believe one day he would be Prime Minister of Canada.
Now? Joseph can prove more than most he will stand up to corruption and can't be bought. And Joseph knows which politicians are willing to stay silent about corruption. Joseph is just beginning.
